1. Technical Associate – HIV Testing Services (HTS)

Location: Anambra
Contract Type: Consultancy
Duration: 4 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance

Background:


As a Technical Associate – HTS, you will support the implementation of HIV Testing Services under the N-THRIP project. Your role will involve optimizing HIV testing strategies across various facilities, providing technical assistance, mentoring, and contributing to the scale-up of HIV testing in Anambra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for HIV case finding activities.
  • Mentor and train healthcare providers to improve HIV diagnosis and testing services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance communication strategies for HIV awareness and reduce stigma.
  • Participate in regular HIV monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 2-3 years of experience in HIV/AIDS programs.

2. Technical Associate – Adolescents Girls and Young Women (AGYW)

Background:

In this role, you will focus on implementing AGYW-related activities under the N-THRIP project, supporting school and livelihood interventions for adolescents living with HIV (ALHIV) and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of technical strategies targeting AGYW and HIV prevention.
  • Develop and manage programs offering vocational training and financial literacy for AGYW.
  • Ensure the delivery of sexual and reproductive health services to AGYW.
  • Coordinate facility-based HIV programs related to AGYW.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2-3 years of experience in HIV programming.
  • Experience with AGYW interventions is a plus.

3. Technical Associate – Tuberculosis (TB) / Advanced HIV Disease (AHD)

Background:

As a Technical Associate – TB/AHD, you will provide clinical guidance on managing TB and advanced HIV disease, scaling up preventive therapies, and improving diagnosis and treatment services.

  • Train and mentor clinical staff on TB/AHD case management.

  • Conduct data quality assessments and audits.
  • Support the development and implementation of data collection tools.

Requirements:
