1. Technical Associate – HIV Testing Services (HTS)

Location: Anambra
Contract Type: Consultancy
Duration: 4 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance

Background:

As a Technical Associate – HTS, you will support the implementation of HIV Testing Services under the N-THRIP project. Your role will involve optimizing HIV testing strategies across various facilities, providing technical assistance, mentoring, and contributing to the scale-up of HIV testing in Anambra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance for HIV case finding activities.
• Mentor and train healthcare providers to improve HIV diagnosis and testing services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance communication strategies for HIV awareness and reduce stigma.
• Participate in regular HIV monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 2-3 years of experience in HIV/AIDS programs.
• Expertise in HIV testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant databases (DHIS or NMRS).

2. Technical Associate – Adolescents Girls and Young Women (AGYW)

Location: Anambra
Contract Type: Consultancy
Duration: 4 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance

Background:

In this role, you will focus on implementing AGYW-related activities under the N-THRIP project, supporting school and livelihood interventions for adolescents living with HIV (ALHIV) and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of technical strategies targeting AGYW and HIV prevention.
• Develop and manage programs offering vocational training and financial literacy for AGYW.
• Ensure the delivery of sexual and reproductive health services to AGYW.
• Coordinate facility-based HIV programs related to AGYW.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2-3 years of experience in HIV programming.
• Experience with AGYW interventions is a plus.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

3. Technical Associate – Tuberculosis (TB) / Advanced HIV Disease (AHD)

Location: Anambra
Contract Type: Consultancy
Duration: 4 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance

Background:

As a Technical Associate – TB/AHD, you will provide clinical guidance on managing TB and advanced HIV disease, scaling up preventive therapies, and improving diagnosis and treatment services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical support for TB and AHD diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Train and mentor clinical staff on TB/AHD case management.
• Develop strategies for TB/HIV screening and preventive treatment.
• Oversee the integration of AHD screening and diagnosis into HIV services.

Requirements:

• MBBS, BPharm, or related degree with 2-3 years of experience in clinical HIV/TB management.
• Knowledge of HIV/TB monitoring and logistics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and health databases.

4. Technical Associate – Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT)

Location: Anambra

Background:

• MBBS, Nursing, or Public Health Degree with 2-3 years of experience in HIV programs.

5. Technical Associate – Laboratory Support

Background:

As a Technical Associate – Laboratory Support, you will assist in implementing laboratory services related to HIV testing and diagnosis. Your role includes ensuring quality management systems and supporting capacity-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support HIV testing, diagnosis, and monitoring activities in laboratories.
• Implement and monitor quality management systems.
• Assist in data collection and analysis to inform program improvements.
• Provide technical support and training for laboratory staff.

Requirements:

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field with 2-3 years of experience in lab services.
• Deep knowledge of HIV diagnostic tests.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

6. Technical Associate – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

Location: Anambra
Contract Type: Consultancy
Duration: 4 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance

Background:

As a Technical Associate – M&E, you will ensure the quality of data reporting and support data quality assessments across facilities. You will also work closely with the M&E team to resolve data management challenges and improve data collection tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Conduct data quality assessments and audits.
• Support the development and implementation of data collection tools.
• Provide technical assistance for data management and reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field with 2-3 years of experience in data management.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and health databases.
