Job Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in fields such as International Trade, Logistics, Taxation, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Law, Economics, or other related courses.
- Post Graduate Diploma/Masters in Customs or any professional qualification in trade and customs.
- Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access) and experience in performing internet research.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in trade and customs-related work, preferably in consultancy services, Customs Authority, or Industry.
- At least 10 years of experience in managing project assignments and teams.
- Demonstrated success in winning engagements in the market, with a focus on tax governance.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the AFCFTA and WTO Agreement, protocols, and annexures.
- Extensive knowledge of Tax laws and rules in the West African region.
- Established relationships and experience with the Nigeria Custom Service, Ministry of Trade, and multilateral development organizations.
