Position Overview
Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Flowergate Factory, Sagamu, Ogun State
Employment Type: Full-Time
Educational Requirement: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, or related fields
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in FMCG
A Day in the Life of a Production Technician
As a Production Technician at Nestlé Nigeria, your daily responsibilities will involve:
- Operating and maintaining production lines.
- Conducting quality checks before, during, and after operations to ensure compliance with Nestlé’s high standards.
- Troubleshooting issues and carrying out repairs to keep the production running smoothly.
- Working closely with your team to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the product at all times.
- Staying environmentally conscious by minimizing the impact of production activities.
- Promoting food safety to ensure top-quality products reach consumers.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- An OND in a relevant field such as Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Food Science/Technology, or Agricultural Science.
- At least two years of relevant work experience as a Production Technician.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A minimum of five credits in SSCE, including English and Mathematics.
