Application Timeline:

The registration portal for the LAUTECH Post-UTME and Direct Entry application will be open from Monday, August 5, 2024, and will close on Friday, September 6, 2024.

For Direct Entry candidates, the oral and written interview will take place on Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Post-UTME screening, candidates must have chosen LAUTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2024/2025 UTME and must have scored a minimum of 170 marks.

Additionally, candidates must upload their O’level results on the JAMB CAPS portal, and upon receiving an admission offer, they must accept or reject it on CAPS to be included on the JAMB National Matriculation list.

For Direct Entry candidates, those who have applied through LAUTECH’s JUPEB programme or from other institutions are required to obtain Direct Entry forms from JAMB to be eligible for the screening exercise.


Method of Application

Applicants are required to visit the official admission portal at apply.lautech.edu.ng to begin their registration.

A payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) is required, payable via an Inter-Switch enabled Debit Card (ATM card).

When filling out the application form, applicants must upload a clear digital copy of their passport photograph on a white background in JPEG format, with a size not exceeding 20kb.

It’s important to note that any application with a blurred picture will result in the candidate being denied entry to the screening center.

Applicants are also advised to familiarize themselves with the various programmes offered by LAUTECH, as well as the specific O’Level entry requirements and UTME subject combinations for each programme.


Direct Entry Candidates: Additional Requirements

Direct Entry candidates must ensure they meet the admission requirements by forwarding their transcripts to the Registrar of LAUTECH no later than one week before the screening exercise.

This step is crucial for those applying through the JUPEB programme or other Direct Entry pathways.


Eligibility Criteria

LAUTECH maintains strict eligibility criteria for all applicants.

Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects from SSCE/NECO/NATEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.

For candidates seeking admission into Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science, a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects at a single sitting is mandatory.

Applicants for Direct Entry must possess an upper credit in their National Diploma, NCE, HND, RNS, or JUPEB qualifications.

Additionally, all candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old to qualify for admission to any programme at LAUTECH.

LAUTECH has issued a strong warning against the provision of false information during the application process.

Any candidate found guilty of this offense will face prosecution and will have their admission withdrawn.
