Key Responsibilities
Retention and Growth: Your primary focus will be on retaining and growing the eCommerce platform, ensuring that the volumes for merchant acquiring meet and exceed the set budgets and targets.
This includes working closely with various stakeholders to provide proactive and innovative IT solutions.
Customer Service Excellence: Delivering exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations is a cornerstone of this role. You’ll need to resolve queries quickly and effectively within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members. Providing input to business requirements will be a key part of your job.
IT Support and Maintenance: You’ll be responsible for the timely and effective response to IT desktop user queries and problems. This includes logging problems, coordinating rapid and appropriate responses, and ensuring on-site hardware, software, and peripheral updates and repairs.
System and Data Protection: Ensuring system and data protection is crucial. This includes new system installations on standard PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, as well as managing IT service desk incidents to provide efficient desktop support.
Minimizing System Downtime: Proactive monitoring and planning are essential to minimize system downtime. You’ll need to ensure all PCs have up-to-date anti-virus software, patches, accurate server connections, and more.
Efficient Administration: Providing an efficient administration service through careful planning, reporting, and updating of all related information during IT support activities is a must.
Desktop Project Support: You’ll also support the implementation of desktop projects or change programs as required by the business.
Personal and Peer Development: Managing your own development to increase competencies, supporting peers and colleagues through knowledge sharing during desktop support is essential for success in this role.
