- Ensuring compliance with Federal Government Financial Regulations and Treasury Circulars.
- Planning, organizing, and executing financial operations in line with the college’s policies.

- Advising the Provost on financial matters.
- Preparing and defending budgets for personnel, overhead, and capital expenditures.
- Providing financial reports to the Governing Council.

Qualifications
This prestigious position demands strong academic and professional credentials. To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A good honours degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution.
- A relevant Master’s Degree with at least 18 years of experience.
- Membership in a professional body in accounting or finance (such as ICAN or ANAN).
- Must have served as a Deputy Bursar at CONTEDISS 15 level.
- Proven ICT proficiency is required, as financial systems rely heavily on technology.
- Applicants must be below the age of 59 at the time of appointment.
Salary and Duration
The salary follows the consolidated scale for Federal Colleges of Education. The position offers attractive benefits as per the 2015 Revised Schemes and Conditions of Service. The bursar will serve a single term of five years.
