Basic Requirements for Fountain University Osogbo Job Recruitment

Reader (FUASS 6)

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in teaching and research within a university system.
  • Evidence of significant scholarship and a track record of outstanding research with at least 20 publications in local and international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Must have held the position of Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three years and be a member of relevant professional bodies.
  • Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is required.

Senior Lecturer (FUASS 5)

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a minimum of seven years of post-qualification experience in teaching and research in a university.
  • Demonstrable evidence of research with at least 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience as a Lecturer I for at least three years, and membership in relevant professional bodies.
  • Proficiency in ICT is essential.

Lecturer I (FUASS 4)

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field with at least five years of post-qualification experience in academia.
  • A minimum of five publications in reputable journals.
  • Must have held the position of Lecturer II for at least three years and be a member of relevant professional bodies.
  • Proficiency in ICT is mandatory.

Lecturer II (FUASS 3)

  • A Ph.D. or a minimum of two years as an Assistant Lecturer.
  • At least two publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies.
  • ICT proficiency is required.

Assistant Lecturer (FUASS 2)

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Registration for a Ph.D. program will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in ICT is required.

Clinical Instructor (FUNTISS 7)

  • A Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (BN.Sc.) and membership in the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • A valid Annual Practicing License is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ICT, especially as it applies to Nursing Science, is essential.
