The application process is simple, and most importantly, FREE OF CHARGE. Here’s how you can start your journey:
Visit the Recruitment Portal: Head over to www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng to begin your application. Remember, you’re allowed only one application—submitting multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
Complete the Application Form: Carefully fill out the online form with all required information. Double-check for accuracy before submission.
Print Out Essential Documents: Once your application is complete, ensure you print out the following forms:
- Acknowledgment Form
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Local Government Attestation Form (to be signed by a military officer or Local Government Chairman)

Are You Eligible? for Nigerian Air Force Tradesmen and Tradeswomen Recruitment – Here’s What You Need
To qualify for the Tradesmen/Women category, you must meet the following requirements:
Nationality: You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
Identification: Possess a National Identity Card, NIN, or BVN.
Height: Minimum 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.
Fitness: Candidate must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
Clean Record: You must have no previous criminal convictions.
Age and Educational Requirements for Nigerian Air Force Tradesmen and Tradeswomen Recruitment
The age and educational qualifications vary depending on the trade you’re applying for:
Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years old. Applicants born before 20 September 2000 are not eligible. For those applying as Chaplain/Imam Assistants or Drivers/Mechanics, the age limit is extended to 28 years (Applicants born before 20 September 1997 are not eligible).
Education: If you hold an ND/NCE, you must have at least a lower credit from an accredited institution and possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
For certain trade skills, you must have trade test certificates and a minimum of 2 passes in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with a credit in English Language. Trades include:
- Driver/Mechanic
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Masonry
- Welding
- Electrician
- Building Technology
- Painting
- Quantity Surveyor
- Civil Engineering (Technicians)
- Estate Management
- Town Planning
- Survey/Geoinformatics
- Draughtman
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology
Medical and Sports Skills: If you’re applying for professions allied to medicine, you must possess an ND from recognized training institutions in Nigeria and a valid practicing license. For sportsmen and women, you need to present evidence of your experience, such as certificates and medals.

Online Registration: Nigerian Air Force tradesmen and tradeswomen recruitment opens on 21 August 2024 and closes on 2 October 2024. Don’t miss this window to apply.
Zonal Recruitment General Aptitude Test: Scheduled for 8 October 2024. Be prepared to showcase your knowledge and skills.
Key Notes
No Fees Required: The Nigerian Air Force does not require any payment at any stage of the recruitment process. Stay alert and avoid any fraudulent individuals requesting payment.
Attestation Form: The Attestation Form must be signed and accompanied by a passport photograph, along with a photocopy of the signee’s Driver’s License, International Passport, or National ID Card. The signee is also responsible for authenticating the applicant’s passport photograph.
