Key Responsibilities:
- Records Preparation and Surveys:
Participate in the preparation, updating of file indices, and conduct records surveys and appraisals to maintain accurate records.
- Retention and Disposal:
Assist in preparing and implementing records retention and disposal schedules, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Records Management System:
Capture and manage requests, complaints, and complements in the records management system, ensuring timely responses.
- File Management:
Retrieve, amalgamate, and receipt files, while maintaining an organized system for file storage and retrieval.
- Indexing and Dispatching:
Process and index files for dispatch, ensuring records are correctly classified and easily accessible.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates interested in these positions must hold a Diploma in Information Sciences, Records Management and Information Technology, Archives and Records Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications is also essential, as the role involves extensive use of digital records management systems.
