Job Summary: The Customer Service Officer is responsible for coordinating customer service functions, liaising with corporate customers, county governments, non-corporate strategic institutions, VIPs, and government ministries.

This role involves delivering exceptional support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, processing orders, and providing information to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzing Meter Readings: Detect anomalies before billing and make recommendations.
  • Monitoring Trends: Generate and reduce consumption anomalies to zero.
  • Quality Monitoring: Ensure high quality of anomaly resolution to avoid recurrence.
  • Billing Oversight: Monitor the number of bills produced versus the supplies to be billed per month.
  • Data Capture: List supplies with actual readings not used in billing and advise billing on account normalization.
  • Data Integrity Campaigns: Initiate campaigns to enhance data integrity.
  • Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Organize forums between the company and large power and SME customers.

Person Specifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Social Science, or a related field from a recognized institution is required.
