Role Overview
As the Senior Marketing Intelligence/Analytics Officer, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that will inform and optimize marketing strategies. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing marketing performance, understanding market trends, and supporting key strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- White Papers and Position Papers: Develop detailed white papers and position papers as directed by the Group Head of Marketing & Communication Channels (GH, M&CC), providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for research, insights, and documentation related to key projects assigned by the GH, M&CC.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and present data on marketing campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Develop and maintain data models, databases, dashboards, and other analytical tools.
- Data Visualization: Create visually compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Marketing Metrics Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns to evaluate performance and suggest improvements.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats. Analyze competitors’ marketing strategies and performance to gain a competitive edge.
- Segmentation Analysis: Perform segmentation analysis to identify target audiences and tailor marketing efforts to meet their needs.
- Campaign Optimization: Use data insights to recommend enhancements to marketing campaigns and tactics, driving better results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to integrate data insights into cohesive marketing strategies.
- Tool Management: Oversee marketing analytics tools and platforms, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics.
- Insight Generation: Identify and communicate actionable insights that inform marketing decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and dashboards to senior management and key stakeholders, providing clear and impactful updates on marketing performance.
What We’re Looking For
To be a strong candidate for this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in marketing analytics are a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing analytics or a related role, with a proven track record in data analysis, market research, and campaign optimization.
